Research Administrative Systems Upgrade
Iowa State University (ISU) has committed to a long range plan to improve and enhance its administrative systems, including those for research administration. One of our first goals is to implement Kuali Coeus research administration software, currently under development by a community of major research universities. In 2007, ISU joined the collaborative effort to develop the system by becoming a member of the Kuali Foundation and in 2008 by becoming an investing partner in the Kuali Coeus initiative and the Kuali Rice initiative. For more information on the Kuali Foundation and the various projects within Kuali, visit www.kuali.org.
The primary effort will focus on system development according to the Kuali Coeus roadmap. The implementation will follow according to a plan that will be constructed as the system development is completed and the Kuali Coeus releases are available.
