Identity Management
Define identity management for Iowa State University and develop a document to outline the process in order to better align the various entities of ISU. This outline includes a Moira update or refit to the current architecture, a single sign-on, AD and MIT realms conflict, PKI infrastructure, expansion of Net-IDs, and an on-campus certificate service on the network.
Status
1) A roadmap has been drafted.
2) Moira update completed.
3) Single sign-on via pubcookie is in wider use.
4) Realm rationalization is at a standstill.
5) PKI infrastructure -- spun off into its own project.
6) Expand scope of Net-IDs proposal has been drafted.
7) Certificate authority --spun off into its own project.
