Network Operations Center (NOC)
Establish a network operations center. This will include providing network and environmental monitoring and response 24x7; providing skilled technical support for network troubleshooting, repair, and security incidents during extended hours; documenting outages; and notifying the university community.
Status
A distributed Hobbit system is being installed in Netcom node rooms. The Solution Center is interviewing to hire a NOC support person. Training continues.
