Responsible for establishing and reviewing university-wide security policies and best practices. IT Security and Policies investigates issues impacting the security of technology infrastructure including confidentiality and privacy, system intrusion detection, prevention, and development of policies and procedures in information security and forensics.

IT Security & Policies
IT Security & Policies engages the university community in developing policies, procedures, and best practices related to the security of information technology resources and privacy of data. Responsibilities include developing and providing IT security awareness programs, information resources, and tools. The group also contends with and coordinates, along with others, responses to IT security incidents and assists with risk assessments of IT resources.
